The main attraction of Krotoszyce, an old village in the Chojnów Plain, is the palace dating back to 1686. It was built in the Baroque style, in the shape of the letter T, and underwent several renovations, but without fundamental changes to the original structure. It is possible that it was created through a comprehensive reconstruction of an older, Renaissance-style manor with defensive features. It features decorative gables and a portal. The palace is accompanied by the farm buildings of the former estate, now renovated and used as part of the “Krotoszyce Palace” hotel and recreational complex.
Around the palace, there is a landscape park covering an area of about 6 hectares, featuring a large pond with an islet and bridges. One of the notable trees in the park is a plane tree that stands at a height of 29 meters with a circumference of nearly 7 meters. In the central part of the village stands the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, dating back to the 15th century. It was reconstructed in the 17th century and during the turn of the 19th/20th century. Situated on a hill above the main road through the village, it is a prominent feature in the landscape visible from a distance. To the east of the village, a wide flat bottom of the Kaczawa Valley extends, while to the west, there is a treeless leveled upland with a loess cover, conducive to cultivation.
