Although, the region does not offer natural water reservoirs (we are in the mountains!), if you dream about bathing and are tired of hot weather, we recommend the following:
- Summer swimming pool in Jawor (open-air)
- Municipal swimming pool in Świerzawa (open-air)
- Municipal swimming pool in Wojcieszów (open-air)
- Municipal swimming pools in Złotoryja
- Mściwojów Reservoir
Other ideas for hot days:
- Ice-cream
- Pontoons on the Bóbr River
- Kayaks on the Bóbr River
- Gorges: Myślibórz, Lipa, Siedmicki, Nad Groblą
We do not recommend bathing in the following places:
- Pilchowickie Lake
- Zimnik Quarry and all former working site
For reasons of your safety – shores of these reservoirs are very steep, in the case of quarries in the form of sudden drops.
