We organise kayak rafting on the Bóbr River, which start in Nielestno, from Wozownia Nad Bobrem located in the picturesque Bóbr Valley
Kayak rafting on the Bóbr River is an amazing experience allowing for the direct contact with nature from the unusual point of view. The route goes through terrains which are far away from any buildings and civilisation noise. Along the raft route, you can come across numerous birds such as qild ducks, grey herons, kingfishers, wagtails and many more. You can see the signs of beaver activity or otters at work. Roe deer and deer come to the water to drink, and along the whole route we are accompanied by beautiful dragonflies and butterflies. You can admire also rock formations on the river banks and soaring trees creating forests on the slopes surrounding the Bóbr River. The raft route leads through meadows and pastures, where in spring and summer you admire wonderful flowers and other plants of the Bóbr Valley Landscape Park.
The car park for our Guests is available approx. 100 meters from the start.
The price list and route types:
- Nielestno – Marczów, 10 km, time approx. 2-3 h, price per two-person kayak 90 PLN
- Nielestno – Dębowy Gaj, 16 km, approx. 3-4 h, price per two-person kayak 110 PLN
- Nielestno – Lwówek Śląski, 22 km, approx. 5-6 h, price per two-person kayak 130 PLN
- children up to 6 years old, who are in a kayak with their parents, using an extra seat – for free
The rafting time depends on the level of water in the river and engagement in paddling.
The most important information:
- Mietek has kayaks for 2 people at your disposal (upon request extra seat for a kid up to 6 years old free of charge)
- before the start, we will introduce safety rules to you, give you detailed instructions, after which you’ll receive route maps, life vests and paddles, later we will launch kayaks and start paddling
- after reaching the destination, you’ll be transported back to our car park
- if kids do not feel comfortable in water, they may be afraid of entering the kayaks
- flipping over is rare, but it may happen. In 99%, they result from not following the organiser’s recommendations
- you need to be careful on the whole route, Bóbr is a quite large river, although it’s peaceful
- on hot days, don’t forget to take drinking water and a hat or cap, sunscreen and some mosquito deterrent
- after you take part in kayak rafting, you’ll receive a stamp in your Passport of the Explorer of the Land of Extinct Volcanoes
