The reservoir location and attractions
The Złotoryja Reservoir is not a very large artificial lake located in the picturesque, peaceful place at the outskirts of Złotoryja. The terrain around the reservoir is richly developed. There is a large meadow, a place for barbeque, a jetty or a playground at the disposal of visitors. There is also a rebuilt cycling road leading through the reservoir, and walking paths around the reservoir. In the close civinity, there is the rope park Meander, opened in 2022. Its main attraction is tyrolean traverse over the water of the reservoir.
In summer, you can swim in the Złotoryja Reservoir, there is a specially prepared beach. The place is open every day, and access is free of charge and generally available.
The reservoir is also a place where a competition organised within the Polish Gold Panning Championships is held.
