The Kaczawska Crown – for the persistent
climb 30 peaks,
you’ll get to know the Land of Extinct Volcanoes
like almost no one else!
The Kaczawska Crown is for those who feel that walking along the beaten tracks is not enough. It was prepared by the Legnica branch of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society.
How to get the Kaczawska Crown badge?
- to get the badge, you need to gor trips to the selected 30 peaks of the Kaczawskie Mountains and Foothills, performed after the 1st of March 2019,
- there is no time limit,
- the order of climbing the peaks is up to you,
- in order to confirm the trips, you need to document them (e.g. by keeping a notebook, blog, pictures), there is also a special booklet for the badge prepared by the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society in Legnica
- in your notebook, write the name of the climbed peak along with the date and include your photo with a characteristic element of the peak, e.g. with the name plate .
- after climbing all the peaks, you provide the notebook for verification in the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (PTTK) in Legnica. The verification is free, you just need to pay for the shipping costs and costs of the badge.

A short walk:
Some peaks are located relatively close to a place in which you can park your car. Here are proposed peaks for short walks (the time needed for climbing those peaks (one way – up) is given in the brackets):
