The Folwarczna Mountain, also called Maślak, lies on the other side of the Komarnicka Pass than Skopiec with Baraniec. According to some measurements, it is the tallest peak of the Kaczawskie Mountains (Okole is also aspiring to this). The Folwarczna Massif is built from the Early Paleozoic rocks – greenschists, diabases and greenschist slates. On the northern slope of the massif, there is the nature reserve “Buczyna Storczykowa on Białych Skałach” (“Orchid Beech Forest on White Rocks” with the Walońska Cave. On the southern slope, you can admire the view to the Jelenia Góra Basin and the Karkonosze Mountains.
