The route runs in the Okole massif, which acc. to the most recent measurements is the highest peak of the Kaczawskie Mountains. It must be admitted that the route runs through the most beautiful forest nooks and near rocks, which cannot be admired from the walking trail. At the top of Okole, there is a viewing platform and a little resting shed.
Going up due to the exceedance is quite demanding, there are safety barriers and several interesting obstacles (which can be omitted if necessary) on the route down. The route is recommended to intermediate bikers in a good physical shape.
“Okole Zjazd” is a short downhill section, thanks to which you can cover the fragment of the way up again or simply shorten the route and go back to the car park.
length of tracks:
– single track „Okole” – 10 km
– single track „Okole Zjazd” – 1,2 km
– version 2 tracks at once – approx. 17,5 km
exceedance:
– single track „Okole” – 374 m
– single track „Okole Zjazd” – 89 m
level of difficulty: medium
interesting places along the track:
– the viewing platform at the top of Okole (created in 2018), 6 km of the „Okole” route
– the obligatory point of the Kaczawska Crown badge and a sticker to the Explorer’s Passport
Note the viewing point does not lie directly on the route, but is well marked. To reach the peak, you need to turn into the blue trail in the place where you enter the highest point of the track.
Ckeck out other biking tracks in the Kaczawskie Mountains!
