Spend a day in the Land of Extinct Volcanoes Geopark… i visit Msciwojow!
- The reservoir with an area of 35ha at the foot of the Msciwojowska Mt. (214 m a.s.l.), observation tower and historic park in the centre of the village – it all awaits you. It sounds like a really interesting day!
- The reservoir was created in 1999 on the river of Wierzbiak and it is used for retention and recreation purposes. A self-purification system applied in here is a unique in Europe.
- The place is very well-maintained, its infrastructure include a jetty by the reservoir, wooden deckchairs, sheds, boards… there’s even a granite bench in the shape of a volcano! Make yourself comfortable, rest and admire amazing views!
- There is a path along the edge of the reservoir which will guide you to the 25-meter-tall tower with a picturesque view, among others to the Kaczawskie Mountains and Walbrzyskie Mountains. You’ll receive a sticker to yourPassport of the Explorer of the Land of Extincti Volcanoes for visiting the tower.
- The village centre holds a historic park with a pond and gazebo on the island, a building of 18th-century orangery, as well as ruins of the renaissance manor house of the Nostiz family erected in approx. 1550, and rebuilt in the 19th century. Just next to the park, there is also alley with granite statues of a min. salamander or wolf. You should definitely see it all!

- The Author’s Ceramics studio “Ogrod Kreatywnosci” in Msciwojow (workshops, yoga, gallery – you can buy unique mugs, bowls, angels, jewellery, etc.),
- The Castle – Palace Complex in Luboradz
- The Palace – Park Establishment in Targoszyn, under the Marysieńka Foundation’s care, where you can participate in family picnics, healthy food fairs and other events on weekends.
