On April 25, a unique event promoting three UNESCO designations will begin:
- UNESCO Global Geopark Land of Extinct Volcanoes, of which we are a part,
- The Evangelical Church of Peace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site,
- Polonaise dance as an element of intangible cultural heritage.
The event will begin with a meeting at the Evangelical Church of Peace in Jawor, where we will hear about the significance of the UNESCO symbol, the uniqueness of the Church and the idea of UNESCO Global Geoparks.
Then we will walk in a parade to the market square in Jawor where high school graduates from the Geopark area will dance the polonaise together!
