The Kaczawskie Mountains is a Mecca of Polish agates' hunters. You will find places where these semi-precious, volcanic stones attract the hunters:
• the quarry in Lubiechowa in which one can find black and white agates and amethysts

• in Nowy Kosciol, Rozana, Sokolowiec there are agates in pink porphyry
